ABSTRACT TITLE(STYLE: Heading )

This ABSTRACT KIT document serves as a style guide and also as a template for the preparation of initial abstracts to be submitted to the RCMRD Secretariat. This document can be renamed with the title of your paper (as per the supplied naming convention below. It contains all the necessary style elements for you to prepare the abstract in the preferred format. This abstract will be used to assist the organisers in selecting papers for oral presentations or posters, and in designing the technical programme. The abstract should not be more than 500 words, and should preferably fit onto one A4 page. The abstract should  not contain references, illustrations or figures.

As the abstracts may eventually be used in the programme booklet, printed in black on white, colour diagrams/text are not appropriate. The recommended style for each element is indicated in grey lettering after the first uses of the element. The document itself is set out using the layout and styles for the abstract. Your abstract should be saved in a file named as follows: start with the surname of the first author et al., followed by the first ~3 words of title and then RCMRD2017, e.g. “Jacomo et al. Remote sensing  _RCMRD2017.docx”.
(Style: Body text RCMRD)

The final date for submission of abstracts is 15-May-2017.
